In order to hear game audio through wireless headsets like the XP , the headset must be paired to its transmitter.

The headset and transmitter are paired out of the box. The instructions below are only necessary if pairing appears to have been lost. The Headset ‘ s Power Button is on the left ear cup:.

If you are still having trouble pairing the headset and transmitter or cannot hear game audio, please contact our Support Team: Contact Support. Turtle Beach Legacy XP Hold the Headset’s Power Button for 3 seconds to power it off.

Disconnect the transmitter from USB power for 3 seconds, then plug it back in. With the headset still powered off, press and hold the Power Button. The headset will announce “Powering on” followed by “Pairing headset”, then release the button. The headset and transmitter should now be blinking at the same quick rate as the transmitter twice per second.

Within 30 seconds, you should hear the headset announce ‘Headset Paired’. The headset will now be paired to the transmitter and ready to play game audio. When battery power is low, the headset will not pair properly. Make sure the headset and transmitter are 2 to 3 feet apart about an arm’s length when pairing.
