When you start sieging you can see 4 values – turns before attrition starts, turns before settlement surrenders, total amount of labor, amount of labor per turn. Turn before attrition starts – depends on settlement size, buildings, defending and attacking lord abilities and special characters or traits 2.

Turns before settlement surrenders – same as 1 3. Total amount of labor – depends on army size, usually for full stack is around Not sure how it is calculated, in few tests I got such values: full skaven stack Ikit’s army of size – points, same army without two heroes – points.

Full HE stack Alarielle’s army – points. Reinforcements don’t count for total amount of labor so you can’t increase it past certain value even if you understand how it is calculated better, so just bring full size army to the siege and you are good. So if you want to build more siege equipment the easy way is to reduce turns required for surrender, there are sometimes abilities for this in the blue line and some traits which lords gain when they do a lot of sacking.

I don’t think it is worth spending skillpoints on the blue line though just for this thing. I usually attack in the first turn anyway by using units with Siege attacker. Last edited by archmag ; 10 Jan, am. That’s really interesting. You’re totally sure of this? Where and how’d you find it?
