As Destiny heads towards its one year anniversary, Bungie is planning on a massive overhaul before the next major expansion arrives. Starting with weapon balancing , the update also looks to streamline a number of aspects including bounty and quest chains.

While gamers continue to wait for the massive update coming prior to Destiny’s The Taken King expansion, Bungie released a smaller hot fix which corrects a number of issues and also affects a certain unique auto rifle which had previously stopped dropping for players. Bungie has released a hot fix for Destiny which tweaks various aspects of the game including map rotation for a few PvP modes , background technical code, and also a few elements within the Tower.

Players also now have the ability to turn their character when looking at armor within the inventory screen. The big news for fans of Destiny may be the fact that the rare weapon drop, Husk of the Pit , has been updated. Prior to this fix, the weapon was actually disabled, preventing players from getting their hands on it at all.

Curiously, this hotfix temporarily removes Tess Everis from the game. Seen within the Tower social space acting as the liaison for Special Orders, Bungie has gone and replaced her with a kiosk located near Eva Levante in the northern section of the Tower. There’s no word on why this is being done, but speculation has pointed to a variety of reasons from integrating her into the revamped story in The Taken King to Bungie trying to figure out what to do with her going forward.

Though somewhat minor, what do you think of the changes above? Are you going to miss Tess Everis or are you a fan of the new soulless and lifeless machine? Source: Bungie.
